I wanted to create three different graphic t-shirt designs. Going to school at Northwest, I have noticed that there are not very many variations of school t-shirts, so I decided to take it upon myself to create new and interesting designs that would be appealing to my fellow collegegoers. I approached this project knowing that I wanted to work entirely digitally because I wanted my designs to be professional in appearance. The first design was of the school mascot, Bobby the Bearcat. I played around with colors and shading to make the design feel simple and still interesting. The second design was a simple circle design that is more text driven than the other two and highlights the Northwest bell tower in the center. For the third design, I was inspired by an old cartoon show called School House Rock. I created a version of Bobby the Bearcat in the School House Rock style and incorporated text that was similar to the logo.
