For my food package design, I decided to make three variations of packages for various dried fruits. I decided to base the entire package around elderly fruit characters that I used as mascots for the brand. The three different flavors are apple, fig, and apricot. The whole package pokes fun at old people with quotes like, “My children don’t call anymore!” and “I lost my arms in the war!” Ultimately, I created three different labels for each different flavor: a front label, a top label, and a nutrition label. I printed each of the labels out as stickers and applied them to a jar. I decided that a jar would be the most interesting way of presenting the food and that it also would tie in with the Shrivelled brand that I created. In the end, I presented the three jars in a picnic basket with a bow surrounded with tissue paper.
